Quarterly Off-Site October 2026

Trading our transparent OLEDs and spatial design tools for steering wheels and laser blasters, the Kirix Innovations crew recently shut our laptops and hit Play Arena for a highly competitive, high-octane quarterly offsite. Building interactive installations and rolling out Flekt updates takes serious creative stamina, so a day dedicated entirely to speed, strikes, and tactical survival was exactly what the team needed to recharge. The transformation from focused creative technologists to ruthless arcade warriors was almost instantaneous.

The chaos kicked off on the go-kart track, where the polite collaboration of the design studio immediately evaporated into a cloud of burning rubber. Everyone channeled their inner race car driver, diving into hairpin turns and trading paint on the straightaways. Thomas pushed the karts to their absolute limits right out of the gate, proving that the team's drive for precision extends well beyond visual merchandising. It was a blur of helmets, cheering, and merciless overtakes that left our adrenaline completely spiked.

We then carried our competitive streak into the neon-lit depths of the laser tag arena, where standard office dynamics were quickly replaced by frantic flanking maneuvers and tactical ambushes. Dodging lasers in the dark felt like stepping into a real-world tactical shooter, with squads furiously defending their bases and racking up digital casualties. To finally wind down, we hit the bowling lanes, trading high-speed chaos for rented shoes and heavy spheres. Between the triumphant strikes, the inevitable string of gutter balls, and plenty of great food, the team shared massive laughs and celebrated a phenomenal quarter. We left Play Arena completely exhausted but deeply connected, ready to channel all that winning energy straight into our next big installation.
